Being a geek is cool. Everyone is claiming to be one, it seems, and from London to San Francisco to Berlin, entire communities are based around geekery.
In days of yore, it was easy to spot a geek. The non-haircut, the glasses, the anti-fashion their some of our caracteristics. They were also the ones who inside on a sunny day indulging their unfashionable obsessions to the detriment to their social standing.
Now, thanks to the arrival of "geek-chic", what once would result in ridicule is now considered "really cool".
But how a geek looks like?
What else makes a geek?
They know tech, obviously, and share certain techy skills, but they also shares a love of a narrow range of TV programmes and films, know their way around the internet (the tricky bits, not the Buzzfeed bits). They know Minecraft. Of course they know Minecraft !
So, to separate the programmers from the posers, and the haxors from the hipsters, here follows a list of things that every geek should know.
