In these newly emerging <em>technotopia<\/em> one of the most popular practices is the engagement with digital games. Creators and players around the world intertwine social and intercultural networks on the basis of digital and online gaming.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Equally important is that in the context of the\u00a0so-called cultural industries and the cognitive economies the practice of playing has radically changed. Games do not relate exclusively to entertainment practices, but also pervade numerous aspects of social life and space.\u00a0The\u00a0Symposium\u00a0Gamification Practices:\u00a0Education &#8211; Space- Culture attempts to illuminate different aspects and meanings of digital gaming\u00a0and detect the underway dynamic changes\u00a0in the Greek Universities.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The meeting will be held at the\u00a0<strong>Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Volos on Friday, 10th of June\u00a02016.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In recent decades the diffusion of digital media and the creation of new forms of sociability, expression and communication have transformed various aspects of everyday life.
