Research and audiovisual recording by Lecad of various subjects in the village of Olympus, on the island of Karpathos. The research and recording was carried out during two consecutive visits to the village of Olympus on the island of Karpathos in the summer of 2001 and 2002.

Systematic documentation of cultural and economic elements of an enclosed society, such as the society of Island Karpathos, focusing on Olympus village. Video shootings during Olympus’ and Avlona’s festivities. Focus on characteristic persons of the island (musicians, festivities organizers, traditional jobs, etc.). Characteristic events of everyday and social life in Karpathos were also recorded (such as arrivals and departures of the island inhabitants at the port and the airport from and to Athens, Rhodes, United States)

From the audiovisual material of the recordings in Olympus a short documentary film was made.
